How the Community Tech Hub Helps

A group of technology savvy individuals have come together to form the Community Tech Hub which is supported by local grant funding to help community members gain the benefit of a professional service whatever their personal economic status. We are available to everyone who needs help.

The company is a social enterprise serving the local communities with three core propositions:

1)         Education:

·       quarterly workshops in a community location (online safety / how to …. sessions)

·       classroom style training to address specific subjects

2)         Online resources – hints tips e.g. how to recover

3)         Support Service – help in the home and / or repair the damage caused by issues

This is supported by a Community Tech Hub Club Membership Model which can be replicated across other local communities. Membership will be subsidised for those in need.

Community Tech Hub Club Membership

The Community Tech Hub has a membership model where in each local community where the Hub exists, people will be encouraged to join that club; E.g. The Grundisburgh Tech Hub Members Club will have the following benefits:

1)         Advanced notice on any events & training course

2)         Includes 4 x 2 hour Workshops per annum

3)         Gives right to request help from the support desk

4)         Have access to our online resource database (when available)

5)         Possible discounts to Tech based deals (e.g. Kit) & trusted suppliers
